In this sequel to Bess Truly And Her Zap-Gun Rangers, Bess gets told that her father and his flying craft, the Starlighter, have gone missing in the desert. She and her horse Electra quickly set off to find him. But she gets more than she planned when the evil invaders from her last adventure show up, chasing down some escaped refugees from the moon. The last of the moon men want to take back the women, men, and children, and  imprison them. 
But Bess isn't about to let that happen.
I really wanted a book to show off just how tough, daring, and heroic Bess was, and this turned out great. Girl positive, adventurous, just a bit of light sci-fi, and as always, great cliffhanger chapters! While written for the YA market, this book will appeal to anyone, young or young at heart. 
And if I can, I'll try to get Bess herself to sign it, too.
